I have to be honest. When I first heard of this, I was sceptical. The huge cost (in my mind) if 350k, I thought was going to be tough. I also questioned whether it would be worth it!

But that was before I found out where they could be flying it!

The Superbowl, Times Square on New Years eve and the December 16th Boston Tea party!

As well as flying it around over America. Now I think it would cost you a lot more to get that kind of advertsing at these events and I am sure the media will not be able to ignore this either.

I am a British supporter of Ron Paul. I was very keen to donate to the campaign but US election rules meant that only US citizens can donate to the official Ron Paul campaign at ronpaul2008.com. However, there are no restrictions to donate to unofficial Ron Paul campaigns. I spoke to Trevor Lyman (lyman.trevor@gmail.com) who organized the Ron Paul money bomb on the 5th November (www.thisnovember5th.com) and he has set up a page where foreigners or US citizens who have already donated the maximum $2300 can donate. The link can be found here (http://teaparty07.com/chipin.htm). This is also the same official site for the Tea Party event on 16th December 2007. Please pass this information on to all your group members and any other Ron Paul groups, particularly from outside of the US.

How about this for an idea?

Who else was like me and felt left out of the fun on November the 5th? The excitment of seeing the donations flood it was just what a campaign should feel like!

Well how about one of the trusted American meetup groups set up an official Worldwide Tea Party Chipin?

Then everyone around the world can donate to this chipin, just as our American friends make their official donations.

That chipin can then be used for something specific, or just spread amongst key Meetup groups in the states?

Good idea? If so, how about some promotion of it too!
