I think the fact that a private citizen would sink $100,000 or more of his own funds into such an advert indicates the incredible hold that Ron Paul and his ideas have taken on American society. If only a fraction of the people who read USA Today respond to the Tea Party '07 appeal, we should have no trouble whatsoever breaking the all-time fundraising record -- and this at Christmas!
The key here for me, is the guy is stumping up 100k of his own money, without asking Ron Paul for a single thing in return.
Unlike the MSM appointed front runners, who certainly get big donations, indeed that is all they get in the main. However, they get their money with strings attached. Which is why they end up as puppets.
